1. The short version
We keep this boring on purpose. Today the Service uses only essential cookies and local storage needed to sign you in and remember your session. We do not run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your browsing behavior. If we ever add product analytics, it will stay off until you explicitly turn it on using the cookie controls described below.

Essential storage cannot be switched off, because the Service can't function (sign-in, following, endorsing) without it. Under ePrivacy/GDPR, strictly-necessary storage does not require prior consent — but we still disclose it here.
3. What we do not use
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, PostHog, Amplitude, Segment, Mixpanel, or similar) are loaded today.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking. Our app-store answer to "Used to track you?" is No.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) runs server-side and edge-side only — it sets no browser cookie and ships no tracking script to your device. It records diagnostic errors, scrubbed of personal data, to keep the Service reliable.
4. Future analytics — off by default
If we later add privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregate usage (never to identify a guest), we will:
- Load it only after you opt in via the cookie controls — a consent gate blocks it until then.
- Update this policy and the in-product notice before any such cookie is set.
- Keep guests anonymous; we never link analytics to a follower's identity, and a Pro can never see who follows them.
5. Managing your choices
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in our website footer to review or change your choice at any time. Declining keeps the Service fully usable — you lose nothing.
- You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, or use private/incognito mode. Clearing essential storage will sign you out.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies globally; the Service still works, but you may have to re-enter a sign-in code more often.
6. Changes to this policy
If our cookie practices change — most importantly, before we ever enable analytics — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date, and surface the change in-product where required.
